MARIA PELLEGRINI AWARDED MEDALS OF HONOR


Recently Maria Pellegrini was awarded
with medals of honor for Canada and Italy for
her global accomplishments as a legendary soprano
opera vocalist. The medals were presented to her at
the Italian embassy in Ottawa, Canada, by Italy's
embassador Gabriel Sardo. Please visit Maria's

Maria was accompanied to the event, to receive
her awards and medals, by longtime friend,
pop artist Devon Niko. Also accompanying
Maria was her relative John Disipio and
wife Tonie C. and many special guests
invited by the Italian embassy.
Her cousin John Disipio, is known
as a member of Canada's Melodia Band
with his bandmate and wife Tonie C,
and Devon Niko.

MARIA PELLEGRINI celebrates
over 30 years of her incredible career
in the opera domain as a brilliantly talented,
world renowned soprano. Maria's career
accomplishments include having performed
and recorded with the late superstar
Luciano Pavarotti, shared the stage
with countless opera stars globally,
entertained the Pope,
the Queen of England, and
prime ministers and presidents
of many countries.

In addition to her accomplishments,
Maria has shared her talent and knowledge
to teach hand picked prodigy students and
operate her own opera production company,
"Maria Pellegrini Opera".

Maria proudly accepted the medals of honor
with grace and the ceremony was a moment
of well deserved acknowledgement for her
efforts to preserve classical / opera genres.
She is enjoying her memoirs of her journey
in the world of opera and would like to thank
all that have supported her colorful career
over the years.
